Lipofilling
Lipofilling is a technique used to create a permanent filler
effect by moving fat from either the abdomen or thighs and
re-injecting it, usually into the face, to replace to volume in
the cheek, chin, or improve wrinkles and ceases in the face.
Lipofilling or fat transfer, can either be done on its own
or in combination with other surgical procedures such as face
and neck lift. Done on its own it is possible to perform the
procedure under local anaesthetic as a day case, but is usually
performed under general anaesthetic.
Lipofilling Results
- Since the procedure is performed with the patient's own fat tissue, there are no resultant allergies, and no pre-medical allergy tests are required
- It provides extremely natural results
- There are not long term complications
- This procedure can be done several times after a few months
